The Downs Preparatory School holds several Open Days each year during the Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms and they are an ideal opportunity to visit our School and experience a 'normal' working day for pupils and Staff here at The Downs Preparatory School. They are an informal and relaxed opportunity to meet the Headteacher and members of our Staff team. During Open Days guests are taken on a guided tour by current pupils and will be able to see performances in Music, Sports and Drama.

We do encourage our prospective families to come to our main Open Days in the Autumn and Spring. An Open Day is the best way to experience everything that is wonderful about life at The Downs Preparatory School. Visitors can meet the Headteacher, members of our teaching Staff, chat to our Pastoral Care team, sample our famous match teas, spend time with our current pupils and fellow prospective parents. During an Open Day guests are also taken on a tour of the School by current pupils and can see performances in Music, Sports and Drama, as well as having the opportunity to take part in a range of activities across different Departments.
In addition to our Open Days, we can also offer taster days and private tours throughout the year if you would prefer.
